Three Contents Pages

Number One

This is the contents page that i have decided to use when i make my magazine. One of the reasons that I chose this contents page is that it matches the front cover very well as the theme of this contents page is also circles. Another reason why I have chosen this contents page is the I think that it is the one that looks the most professional and I also believe that it looks unique.












Number Two

i have chosen not to use this idea as my contents page for my magazine. Although I do like how the title "Contents" looks, I do not like how it cuts the page in half as this would limit my option and mean that for example the picture that I used would have to be very small. I also believe that attention would be drawn away from the actually content's by having all of the writing on one side and all of the pictures on the other.











Number Three

I will not be using this contents page when I make my magazine. this is my least favorite page out of the three that i have drawn as I do not like the bubble writing at the top as I believe that it looks childish. however, I do like how the photographs would have been layed out on the right hand side of the page.

Three Title Pages

Number One

This is the front cover that I am going to use for my magazine as it is my favorite out of all three of the designs. I personally like that the theme of the front cover is circles as this is original and unique. The front cover picture is a medium long shot and all the of my potential front cover designs have the same photograph on them. I have also chosen this as my front cover as I think that it looks more professional.











Number Two

I have not chosen this as the front cover for my magazine. Although I like the way that the title is angles I believe that you loose the title as it is over powered by the rest of the front cover. The picture is a medium long shot and would have been the same picture that is used on all of my front cover designs.













Number Three

I have not chosen to use this idea as my front cover for my magazine. I do not like the way that I have drawn the title as I think that it looks childish and unprofessional and I also do not like how the text boxes are layed out. As in the two above the picture is a medium long shot and is the matching picture that is on all of my potential front covers.

Three Favorite Artists

Number One

Katy Perry. She is an American singer/songwriter and musician. I think that Katy Perry is a good artist as she always at least co-writes every single song that she sings. Katy Perry's music would come under the category of 'Pop' music and I think that this is one of the main reason why I like Katy Perry's music.

Number Two

The Wanted. The Wanted are a fairly new band who have only released a few singles to date. Their first song "All Time Low" was the song that first made me interested in this band. Although I am unsure whether or not The Wanted have any input into writing their lyrics, it is a fact that the have always sung live.





Number Three

Example. Examples real name is Elliot Gleaves. Simlarly to The Wanted, Example is a fairly new artist. Examples music would come under the category of 'rap' and although I do not like many rap artists, Example is still one of my favoirte artists.

Introduction

My name is Megan Scott, I am 16 years old and I was born on the 9th June 1994. I have recently taken my GCSE's and the grades that I achieved are 5 A's, 6 B's and 2 C's. I am currently studying my AS levels at Goffs School. The classes that I have decided to take along with Media Studies are Photography, English Literature and Computer Studies. I did not study Media Studies at GSCE level but I am sure that I will enjoy the subject as I have always had an interest in Media and I find all aspects of the subject interesting.
